Here are five tips to better food safety in the kitchen:
Always wash counters, knives and containers.
2. Separate raw food from ready-to-eat food by using different containers
3. Use different chopping boards or wash them between preparing vegetables and raw meat
4. Chicken meat should never be pink
5. Cool food down to room temperature then refrigerate
