2014 World Food Prize Laureate, Dr Sanjaya Rajaram spoke on: "Feeding a hungry world - can Africa achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030?"
Dr Sanjaya Rajaram, an eminent plant scientist and international scholar, was honoured as the 2014 World Food Prize Laureate for his scientific research that contributed to the green revolution and led to a prodigious increase (by more than 200 million tonnes) in world wheat production.
