PhD candidates at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) are invited to apply for the Makerere-Bergen Research School.
The Makerere-Bergen Research School is a collaboration between the University of Bergen and Makerere University.
Applications to participate in the Research School are currently open, and close on 30 September 2022. The school runs from 28 November to 9 December in Makerere, Uganda.
The theme is food and water security in a changing world. The Research School is seeking a cross-disciplinary appreciation of the theme and it is therefore not discipline-specific. Two parallel courses will be offered: the first course is food systems, and the second one is access to water and water for production.
