Limited number of scholarships available to attend ‘World Nutrition’ Conference

ANNOUNCEMENT

The DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Food Security (CoE-FS) invites applications for funding towards attending the 2^nd International Congress of the World Public Health Nutrition Association from 30 August – 2 September 2016 at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). Eligibility:

Bona fide postgraduate students working in food security and nutrition.

Applicants must submit the following:

A letter of support from an academic/research supervisor
An abridged curriculum vitae
Proof of student registration

Terms of scholarship:

The scholarship will cover registration at the conference. Limited funding for travel expenses may be available for those who are not living in the Western Cape. Scholarship recipients may be expected to act as conference rapporteurs, documenting proceedings of sessions and debates and consolidating these into a composite report.

Successful candidates will be notified by 10 August 2016.
