Post-doctoral fellow recognised for oral presentation excellence at IUFoST 2018

Dr. Dolapo A. Oladiran, a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Consumer and Food Sciences, University of Pretoria – supervised by Prof Naushad Emmambux and Prof Riette de Kock – received an oral presentation excellence award at the 19th  World Congress of Food Scientists & Technologists held in India from the 23rd to 27th October 2018.

Dr Oladiran presented a part of her PhD research on the nutritional, oral processing properties and satiety promoting potential of an extruded cassava-soy porridge.

This research is funded by the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Food Security, jointly hosted by the University of the Western Cape and the University of Pretoria
